Mr. Sharma from Ambala has applied for tourist visa to Maharashtra state office in Chandigarh to visit Mumbai, Lonavala & Pune with his family for summer vacation. Granny in Chennai telling stories about Tajmahal to her grand children as UP state office in Chennai has refused her grandchildren students visa for summer camp at Agra. Mr. Prasad in Cuttak sharing his experience of Victoria & Sunderban jungles with his children as there is long waiting list of tourist visas at WB state office in Bhubneswar.
Time is not far away, when this will happen as states will function as independent countries and people from one state will require tourist visa, student visa etc. (job visa is out of question) Stories and experiences will only be shared as there will long waiting list and waiting period in respective state government offices situated in each state capitals.
Choole bhature will be patented by Delhi government, rajma chawal by Punjab government, Kehwa by J & K government, sandesh by WB government, masala dosa by TN government. Incase you want relish the delicacies of other state, you have to pay heavy license fees even for your own taste buds and have to pay royalties for any commercial use.
In my childhood, I have heard that India is a free country. I can go anywhere, work anywhere, speak anything. Indian constitution has given me a right, right of freedom.
Someday “anekta main ekta, hind ki vishesta” & “unity in diversity” will be found in only books.
